A gentler single session, similar in feel to a facial. Perfect for sensitive areas, between micro-needling treatments, or as a standalone glow.

Micro-needling uses an electric pen with very fine, sterile needles to create thousands of tiny micro-channels in the surface of the skin. These tiny channels do two things: they signal your body to produce new collagen and elastin, and they open the skin temporarily so that customized serums can be absorbed where they actually do their work.

Janet performs micro-needling using the AcuLift system, a professional-grade pen developed specifically for licensed acupuncturists. She has completed certification through Michelle Gellis' training program, the leading clinical course on micro-needling for acupuncture practitioners.

Micro-needling treats:

What to Expect:

  • Please avoid taking anti-inflammatory medication, drinking alcohol, or taking fish oil tablets for the three days before your treatment. This helps minimize any potential for bleeding.

  • Each session takes about 35min. The experience is designed to be deeply relaxing, not intimidating.

    • Cleanse. Your skin is gently cleansed to remove impurities.

    • Numb. A topical numbing cream is applied to the targeted areas for comfort. Most people find the treatment painless.

    • Serum. A customized serum is applied to the clean skin to nourish and prepare it.

    • Treat. The AcuLift pen is moved gently across the targeted areas at the appropriate depth.

    • Soothe. The session concludes with a Calm mist of arnica and aloe to settle the skin.

    • Skin may feel sensitive and look slightly red for a day or two — this is normal and means the process is working.

    • Drink plenty of water, use Aculift skincare products, take vitamin C, and rest well to maximize results.

    • Stay out of direct sun and use a mineral SPF.

    • Visible results typically appear within one week, with cumulative improvement across the full series.

Nano-needling

A gentler, single-session treatment that works on the very top layer of the skin. The nano needles are too fine to enter the deeper dermal layer — instead, they create microscopic channels in the stratum corneum that dramatically increase how well serums absorb into the skin.

Nano-needling won't deliver the same lifting effect as a full micro-needling series, but it has its own quiet magic: zero downtime, no numbing cream required, and a noticeably brighter, more hydrated complexion afterward. It's also gentle enough to use in delicate areas where micro-needling isn't appropriate — around the eyes, on the lips.

Think of it as the facial-style option in the rejuvenation menu. Excellent on its own, and a beautiful complement to a micro-needling series.

FAQs

  • Most people find it surprisingly comfortable. Numbing cream is applied before the treatment, and the AcuLift system uses very fine, professionally calibrated needles. You may feel a light vibrating or tingling sensation, but not pain.

  • For micro-needling, a full series of five treatments produces the most complete, lasting results — that's why we offer it as a package. Visible changes often appear within one week of the first session and continue to develop over the months that follow.

    For nano-needling, you can expect a noticeable glow after a single session, with cumulative benefits from regular treatments.

  • Micro-needling and its companion treatments don't introduce any foreign substances into your skin. There are no neurotoxins, no synthetic fillers, no frozen look. Your face still moves the way it should. Instead of paralyzing muscles or plumping with chemicals, these treatments stimulate your body's own collagen and elastin production. The results are natural and develop gradually — and importantly, they don't change the underlying structure of your face.

  • For micro-needling, expect 24 to 72 hours of light redness or sensitivity, similar to a mild sunburn. Most people feel comfortable returning to normal activities the next day with mineral SPF.

    Nano-needling treatments have essentially no downtime.

  • A few. Active rosacea, open wounds or active acne breakouts, raised keloid scarring, pregnancy, and active cancer are contraindications.

    If you're on blood thinners, please consult your physician — nano-needling may be a better option for you.
